We had went to Da Nang yesterday. There were many to greet us. Oanh and Hang and all of Camelia 4 was there to say goodbye to us. Now we are in hoi An and have room for 3 at Hai Yen. It's still hot, so we must have aircon on. When we arrived at Da Nang called Robert and invited us to lunch at his and Diem's ??home and had a lovely lunch. We invited them to dinner tonight at the harbor. Jens Erik and I have visited Thao silver shop. I bought silver and gold. We had all need to get some sleep, so all slept on the hour from 14.00 to 17.00. I had booked a table at the restaurant. On the way home we visited a bar. A very cozy bar, as there are so many of Hoi An. Restoration we ate at called Thang Phung.

Saturday, October 13
We had agreed with Robert and Diem cycling to An Bang beach. I know a good place to eat there. We biked all and had one of Diem employees My with us. She is a sweet smiling girl of 22 years. We had an entire pavilion for ourselves. There was singing and drinking and bathing in the sea. It was, however, under difficult conditions, when waves were violent. Again a nice lunch. Bike ride home and everyone was very tired. Bang and Jens Erik and I slept. Now we are going out to eat. We find a place on the harbor. We got a light meal. Now we are again back in the room. We get a beer before we go to bed.

Sunday, October 14
Today, Sunday, we decided to do a city tour of Hoi An. We cycled around. We had problems with the lights in the entire city. It took a while before the emergency generator worked. The entire city is without power. Only sites that have an emergency generator can light. We cycled around and had agreed with Thao from silver shop to eat lunch at a special restaurant. We relax in the afternoon in the room. Tonight, CEO Nam invited us to the party at 18.30. We got schnapps or whiskey for the food, not beer. I got ice water as a complement to the whiskey. y from the reception played the guitar and sang a lot. Especially Director Nam sang many solo songs. He has a good voice. After dinner we drove into town. Robert knew a good bar on the other side of the river. It was an incredibly cozy place. We had the habit from the front desk, so we were 7 who took off on a bicycle. Robert, Diem My, Vane, Bang, Jens Erik and me. There were sung and danced. We got the hat fit. Bang meant when it was last night, that was how crazy it gets. It was there too and it was an exciting evening. In the morning we went to Saigon. So begins a new chapter where Bang takes over the management. In Saigon, he is at home. It will be completely new to me.

Monday, October 15
We completed the last act in Hoi An. Jens Erik should get its pants and my shirt. We borrowed bikes and took a ride on the harbor and got soup there. Robert came to say goodbye. Diem and My were meeting in Da Nang. When we got into the train got Bang ordered, so we came in the same compartment. We had a good ride to Saigon.
