Henning went for a walk through the train. It's always nice to see who is involved. We had the bottom bunks and 2 check out the 2 upper køjr in our 4-person compartment.
Henning started a conversation with many. We came out of Danang at 14.30.
Now we need to Hoi An and stay at the Hai Yen. We were picked up by people from the hotel Hai Yen.
We've got rooms and guests from Hanoi has arrived, so now the group has turned to 9
When we got to our hotel Hai Yen struck seven Vietnamese people from Hanoi to us: Khoa, Man, Minh Chau, Thu and her friend from Mai Chau and two men fa Hanoi.

Sunday, April 9
The morgenfrske were out swimming at. 6.00 and then there were bike ride on the small islands starting at. 9.00.

The group was now supplemented by Anh. We drove to the port and took our bikes on the boat. We did not sail so far, approx. 15 minutes
Where we got off there was a shipyard where most was repairing wooden boats. First stop a carving in wood where you can buy things. You could also buy furniture and have them sent back to Denmark.

Up on the bikes again.
As we cycle from carving in wood, we see no tourists, just happy Vietnamese, who shouts "chieng Chau" or hello. We come to a brick factory, where Henning distribute images. Yes I did also at carving in wood.
When you look at a brickyard one thinks, but so did we also bricks 200 years ago. We biked around. 15 km through a beautiful landscape. We ended up at another crossing point.
We ate lunch in Hoi An.
But we Danish had no great appetite while Vietnamese (who was 7) was well up and ate.

The hotel had made a fine feast. There were birthday gifts for Henning, although it is somewhat later.
Sunday, April 10
Today Henning stood up before 6:00 in order to achieve its agreement with the "bicycle man". He rides the bike out to the beach and bike man sitting on the seat for passengers.
This morning we said goodbye to the second It was Thues friend and companion.
We visit an island outside the Cau Dai beach, about 18 km out on the water Cham Island. They came from the boat and picked us up by car.
It did not take so long to move to Champ Island. After a little tour of the town we boarded the boat again and then we sailed to a Robinson Kruso beach with wild bananas and coconuts. There were hammocks for everyone. There were toilets
where you could dress for swimwear. It was relaxing and there was created a nice lunch which is included in the tour price 22 U.S. $.
This time we leave early, at. 7.15 and we will be picked up. It is a day trip, where we first left at. 16.00. Things
evolve, and now there are sun loungers for everyone. Lunch was fine. We had 5 Vietnamese people with. All were in the water. After returning home we had to get clothes were already booked yesterday.
We must also reach the market now and buy a pair of short pants for Erik and a sleeping bag. It is necessary writing to haggle a good deal on price.
We will eat at a restaurant in the evening along with Luu and her family. She is sick and can not undertake to cook as she used to.
Luus famlie comprises Luu, Hung, Chau and Huy. Chau will soon be 18, and Huy are 20 years and will study in IT Saigon in the autumn.

Monday, April 11
Even today Henning stood up before 6:00 in order to achieve its agreement with the "bicycle man" and at. 7:00 we were ready for breakfast. Cl. 9:00 we went off we went to Victory Resort.
At first greeted us at Trang (manager of hotel Victoria) and then we got towels and went to the booth and bathed. Later we went to the pool was 25 degrees in the water.
We cycled now back to Hoi An and had done many things, bought flowers, picked clothes and bought tickets for Erik until tomorrow at 5 sites.
We got to see the Japanese Bridge, and there was an equal chance to visit the "bicycle man" home where there was a lot of children when his wife care for children. The oldest daughter was there too and she is studying also in Danang.
We ate along with Mao at. 20.00, where Mao and his wife and Sy and Khao family came plus 2 Danes. The food tasted good and was something different than during the banquet the other day. Mao's daughter Bick came later.

Tuesday, April 12
Henning took a motorcycle tour to Danang to meet a friend there and while Erik was out and seeing the sights.
Erik had bought tickets for 5 attractions, of which 4 were used. For example the old merchant's house at the Japanese bridge houses, museums and a Chinese pagoda.
There has been a flood here many times and you could see several places where water had stood the different years.
Mao's house was also under water.
Cl. 12.00 Henning was back and we rode into town. We passed a place where there are many people and loud music.
It turned out to be a wedding with approx. 300 guests. We walked cautiously, but it soon became apparent that we were very welcome. We were treated to a lot of food
and there was poured beer up again and again. They asked us to: toks kvaere (phonetics).
It is impressive so hospitable they are. We also had toast with the bridal couple. When we went we won some money in an envelope like the rest of the bridal couple.
In the evening we ate at Sew, which saw Sy, Dien, Anh and his girlfriend Thuy, Phuc and a second son and 2 people from the travel agent who
housed in the same building as the Sys home.

Wednesday, April 13
Even today Henning stood up before 6:00 in order to achieve its agreement with the "bicycle man".
There are now ordered car to us at. 8.30. We drove to Village of Hope. A disability-school with many hearing impaired.
We drove to Danang. This is where Chau, Phuc, Thao Tu and go to school, all sponsored by the Danish. Chau is now almost 18 years. Henning has paid
her special education since she was 5 years. We start with an introduction in the staff room where we put questions to the school's director.
The school has 2 sections, one for normal children without disabilities and one for the hearing impaired. Those children who have disabilities are
driven to school outside the area. Those children who are hearing impaired are taught at school. Among the four children, Dane 2, which is hearing impaired
namely Chau and Phuc. The other two Thao Tu and goes in a different school. Them we first look at. 11.00 when they come home for lunch.
Henning had 3 phones with them. It was Thao is not got a cell phone in this game. They can use your mobile phone SMS.
Chau leave school until June and will then work in a bakery in Danang.
We saw deaf education and visited their dormitories and reading rooms and talked with students who had no education. Cl. 11.00 were all invited to lunch with the students, boys with boys and girls with girls.
We got the same as they got. Phuc mourned nice to Henning and Erik got some food. We did not eat much, since we had lunch again in Hoi An.

After lunch which was quite an experience, we had a final meeting in the staff room.
Now it went to Hoi An again. Thao also had invited for lunch in the town of Hoi An at a restaurant, so it should also fit.
Henning had the afternoon to pay for the boat the other day and deliver laundry.
We ate at 20.00. We are now Khoa, Man, Minh Chau, Henning and Erik.
