We ate breakfast with yogurt and at lunch we got kyllinglår. Unfortunately we were somewhat delayed and was only in Da Nang at 15.30 and in Hoi An at 16.15. We drove from hotel Hai Yen at 8.30 to Da Nang for a disability-school Village of Hope. The school was happy to see us. We watched deaf education and visited the dormitories and the library. At lunch, the boys in a dining room and pigene in another mess. This year there are 179 students, where 99 of them are deaf. Phuc has come as an apprentice tailor. We visited his home. Phuc has previously been at the Village of Hope and has now been 18 years. and fills soon as 19 years. We ate lunch at a burger bar / bakery where Chau is learning. The group had now become 8: Ruth, Tommy, Knud Erik, Henning, Luu, Chau, Phuc and Hang. After returning home we visited two clothing stores, a shoe and a silver business (Thao), which was bought into. Saturday, September 8
We had a great ride on the small islands around Hoi An. Anh was a great help. Without him, we could not find your way around. It was a good long walk in 3 hours and ended at a restaurant where we had lunch. We were all with Ruth, Tommy, Knud Erik, Henning our guide Anh and Hang. We could not knowing Hang again. Ruth was for massage and rode a bicycle without a guide. It was the cross for her. I had Hang with shopping. We started with skokøb. Later we head massage with sink and went on the market. Sunday, September 9
We will be picked up at 7.30 and will be driven to a boat. We need to Champ Island. It is a day trip. We first home again at the hotel at 16.00. Champ Island is a kind of Robinson Kruse island. There is a lile town and some good beaches. When we come to Champ Island, we make a small tour of the city and then receives a beer or water. Some got sugar cane juice on ghavnen. We started from the hotel at 9.00. We took an easy bike ride through the city. We visited Mao's production of rice cakes. Mao's wife Dien stood in the doorway, so we were invited inside. Hang thought it tasted good, so she wanted to buy something. We thought now all that it tasted good. Next stop through town was 41 Le Loy. A business and cultural venue. I know a lady who showed us around. On the ground floor sat 15 girls sewn or embroidered images. There were 2 silk weaving and rear sat 2 ladies who made straw blankets. We saw silk worms in various stages. It was interesting to follow the silk worms from worms that eat mulberries for silk is spun. It is not a cheap place, but a place with a good quality. In addition to being a cultural venue that shows many things, it is also a business that sells these things. We cycled to the other beach An Bang. There is a little longer there namely 6-7 km. Last day in Hoi An. Tomorrow we go to Hue. Tommy and Ruth are doing today city tour and making the final purchase.
