Now we sit at the railway station in Saigon and will get 7.30 am. We drove to the airport to pick Bangs brother, who arrived from the U.S. with his wife. They arrived via Taivan and was first promotion at 12.30. We drove to the Bangs family and ate lunch there. Is now a guest house 4 km from home. We are picked up at 20.00 and must eat dinner at home. Tomorrow download Bang us in the morning. We must stay 2 days in the center of Saigon. Bang must have a few days with family. Bangs brother named Peter and his wife called Phung. when Peter came to the U.S. he took a new name to become more integrated. He is electric engineer and has lived in the U.S. for 30 years. Peter and Phung were tired after 20 hour flight, so Bang made it on to we ate in a small town, where the guest house is located. Bang gave a fine dinner with tiger prawns and Hot Pot. It is a special law and may remind fondue without oil. It is perhaps the most widely used law in Vietnam. We got on well with Saigon beer and Vietnamese whiskey. The day starts early in Vietnam and ends early.

Wednesday, October 17
This morning came a violent rainstorm and may be plans changed. Dert is a typhoon-like rain. But in Vietnam to sex things change rapidly. The weather changed at 8.00 because when heard the rain up. So we took a bike the 42 miles to Saigon. It is a family hotel with no name for $ 10 for a double room with wash air conditioning and bathrooms. Bang ate lunch with us. We got a good lunch for 1 U.S. $. Now we can relax in the room with rum and cola. A small correction. receptionist who was with us in the city on 14/10 is not called Vanh but Quanh. But pronounced as Vanh. Jens Erik and I were out to eat. We should be close to the big market in Saigon. This market closes at 18.00. So, I propose stalls outside the center with many restaurants. There are many people and many stands. We've gone around the city and is now in rooms where we drink rum and cola.

Thursday, October 18
After a good Vietnamese breakfast. "Pho": soup, vegetables, chicken, noodles and many spices we walked around the streets and had 2 bicycle taxis to run fos us. Jens Erik and I drove part of the way we had lunch at our hotel and again a good lunch. Now we can relax in your room. About eftermidagen I went for a walk in the streets and in a park close to the hotel. We ate at a small restaurant close to the hotel. The hotel makes lunch, it's the good. I can see many office people come and eat lunch here. A good lunch costs 6 to 9 pounds.

Friday, October 19
We eat breakfast the same place as yesterday. Bang come here in the morning and then it is supposed that we need to Vung Tau. You should Thaos family from Odense. We should have been in the public bus system, but one of Bang's friends had a car so we drove with a private car. It is Thaos family should be. To save time, we drove to a ferry that took us across the river in 20 minutes. So we saved a run of 50 km. First we visited the Chungs little brother. Chung's wife had cooked for us. We got great krapper, which is an exciting fish and beans and lots of beer. Brother big brother came while we ate. After lunch we drove to his sister's house, which was about 8 miles away. A very nice house and we got a good operation, again beer and fruit. At 16.00 we drove back to Saigon. One of Bangs friends were invited to a great party. Lots of food and cozy atmosphere and good music with many songs. We had about 17 people. One of the guests, which has a factory in Saigon, invited us to see the factory. later he would invite us to his home near Bangs family. We would then sleep in the village in a guesthouse. It was the same place as we slept 16/10. We keep the room in Saigon. When we got to the ferry on the way home, there was a massive queue. It was an hour delay. Bangs friends had begun to eat. Now we are very tired and the time is above 24.00. Bang slept with us. I must say that he has a powerful voice when he slept. Jens Erik could not keep up. I had difficulty sleeping. Jens Erik has gotten in the habit of sleeping with your clothes on. With the voice as Bang at night, he could having been a good opera singer.

Saturday, October 20
We were a little slow to get up this morning. We slept all the way to 7.30 am. It was also a tough day yesterday. I was cut and got massages. Jens Erik and Bang slept. At 14.00 we took a taxi out to a factory that we had been invited to visit yesterday. The factory called "Jeans Resource Group" and him who owned factory named Pham Van That. He has 5 factories and employs 5000 people. We saw production at 2 factories. it was very exciting and That gave us each a pair of pants. But only Bang could fit them. will made new for us next week. At 17.00 we left the factory and to the country to party with him. Now skl we asked. We should at the same guesthouse as the 16/10. Bang and Peter came on a motorcycle and picked us up. There were only 2 km. But not easy, as was svĉrat find. The last piece we had to get off the bikes because there was a problem with water. It was gosdt I had my beach shoes on. I had washed their feet. There was invited more than 100 people who were very much food and great beer. There were many who stood up and sang. there was a band that played. It was exciting to participate in the festivities. For us joined the celebrations at 23.00. We were not the last one that went, but some of the past. We will sleep well last night.

Sunday, October 21
We slept again at the guest house, which is 6 to 7 km from Bang's home. Bang picked us up at 9.00 on a motorcycle with a friend. We drove to a large factory, which is owned by him, as we partied at yesterday. Now we have seen 3 of his factories. That is an interesting person. It is impressive what he has been up to stand at 10 years. He is 44 years old. We drove to the Bangs home, which is decorated for celebration. We were about 100 people and there was plenty of food and plenty of beer. there is a sharing beer and one that comes around with large ice cubes. We partied from 10.00 o'clock morning till 16.00 PM. I had gone to sleep 1 hour and borrowed a bicycle and rode 10 km. That picked us up and drove us to Vuong Tau Friday. A festive day, now we partied Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are tired and looking forward to see Dalat with a cooler temperature.

Monday, October 22
Peter and Phung and Bang came in a taxi from the village. They were at our hotel at 12.00. We drove on to the bus station. It was a fine coach, which I would call a tour bus. There is much to Dalat and it took 8 hours. We were only at the hotel at 9.00 "Pensee". We went out and got some soup. In the mountains it rains a lot. It made it to the end of the day. Now we are looking forward to seeing Dalat in daylight.

Tuesday, October 23
We had rented a car with driver and guide. He picked us up at 8.00. We were all 5 with. We had to visit many places. The first place was a very large flower park, which was incredibly beautiful and perfect stood with thousands of flower beds. You have to return to Holland to find something similar. Dalat is a completely different city than Sa Pa. It is much larger and more modern. The climate is the same as in Sa Pa. Next stop is the last king's summer palace. A nice park, a nice house with many rooms. Very well maintained with many pictures of the royal family. We drove for lunch as we were in the middle of the city. we visited now another nice park, which was held in the name of love. Many newlyweds go on honeymoon to Dalat. It is hardly surprising. Before we visited an embroidery, we visited a new pagoda, built 5 years ago. Here lives over 200 monks. Now it was time to visit the embroidery museum. You may not photographed, which the owner kept strictly on. It was perhaps here we have taken the most vile images. It was very nice with many beautiful embroidery images to many thousands of dollars. Some cost more than 1 million dollars. All the girls were in Au Dai. There were over 100 girls who either made pictures or were vague. Now we had a little break. At 18.00 we were driven to an ethnic village. Here there should be celebration, which was quite different from the celebrations we had been to. Loud music and a bonfire in the middle of the dance floor. We were 5 Danish and 400 Vietnamese, who left his mark on the evening. We were out dancing all the time, yes it was only me who danced. We got wine from jars where we straws sucked the wine up. There was a barbecue skewer for dinner. An exciting end to the day. We were again tired when we arrived at the hotel.
