Departure day for Henning D and Elisabeth. They must be out of the room at. 12 so then they move baggage to me. Khoa comes at. 17:30 and retrieves them and Oahn Lee come to say goodbye.

I took a taxi to Khoas home. It was Thuy I should visit, but she was at work. Khoa drove me on a motorcycle to her home at 17:00. We ate lunch together and visited Minh Chau school. Khoa ate dinner in Thuys home. After dinner we went to the Royal City. There are only 500 meters. We visited Thuys sister Thu. I slept in Thuys house on the 4th floor with a private bathroom. Friday, May 13
Thao came with the night bus from Hoi An. We had coffee together. Jesper was also with and 2 of Thaos girlfriends from Hanoi. At 11:30 am we took again a taxi to the bus station. We need to Thaos home in Tuyen Quang province to the city Chiem Hoa. It took 5 hours. It was a hard trip. The bus we drove also served as product transport. We arrived about 18:00 and got a fine dinner in Thaos home. We were about 28. Everyone sat on the floor and ate except me. I had a small table, but I was sitting with the others. We ate breakfast at a local restaurant near the market at 7.30. We have a long day ahead of us and many activities. Breakfast in a new breakfast restaurant. Jesper got a motorcycle and I sat back. Thaos motorcycle. We drove out in a beautiful landscape to find new exciting experiences. They have a factory which produces bricks for houses as well as another production which produces charcoal for export to Korea and Japan. Jesper and I walked around the factory. They started at 15.30 with making dinner, so it could be finished at 20.00, where guests came. We were 8 for dinner. One could say that it was dinner from scratch. First slaughter two chickens and so clean and peel them. It is a long process. There was also fried fish, manco salad and many other things. Thaos uncle had wine in stock, so it was a festive meal. Again a festive day. Tomorrow we return to Hanoi.

Tuesday, May 17
Breakfast at a local restaurant. Then motorcycle to a school that we have made a deal with. We have to get permission from the police. The school had prom. There were performances. We had hoped for a lot of pictures. Unfortunately for us we stole the picture from the performing students. Everyone wanted to be photographed with us.
