Wednesday April 1
The first day was a success. We started all the home and took the train to Kastrup. John Fifer had come from the U.S. and we met him at the airport. Book Nobody was perfect and we had a nice trip with the plane from Copenhagen to Bangkok. We landed as planned in Bangkok and had approx. 2 hours to come to Phnom Pehn in Cambodia. We booked in and had a nice flight to Cambodia. We had a small problem, one of us had lost his passport boording to Bangkok-Phnom Pehn during the flight from Copenhagen to Bangkok. It is however not a problem today because everything is running on the computer. Tickets were ordered and printed directly so they just printed a new boording passport. We were received at the airport by Sambath and his mother Sarun.

We had a wonderful experience in the royal palace and a walk in the city close to the hotel. We got blind massage, which was almost a time, press and massage in places where the muscles were too stiff.
Now at 24.00 we have a nice beer for the night and we are now going to calm down. Tomorrow we are going to the countryside and see the poor population. All is well and the trip is well underway. We hope everyone in the U.S. are doing well and we will send here from Cambodia and Vietnam.

Then the second day, the final product. We have just received good night of beer on the terrace and will go to rest. The second day began at. 9 to Sambath fetched us a bus. We went to the countryside where he comes from. There lives a large part of the family and they still belong to the poor population. We were staying at his brother's farm, a small piece of land with green traer and some livestock. We walked around in a little village. Sarun had made wonderful food and after we got just one hour in the eye.
At Sarun

After having rested all of the poorest in the village together to obtain a package of food and some clothes from Denmark. It was a fantastic experience to see all the happy faces and big smiles. Sambath driven events and Henning extradited to the great joy and moro from both children and adults.

We should celebrate that Ratha was married and it happened to a better dinner at a restaurant where a four man band with the singer and the 2 singer entertained during eating.

There were several Rathas family to eating. Later there was kareeoke and one of Rathas girlfriends were on stage together with Henning. It's been a really good day, so we look forward to tomorrow.

Friday 3 April
The third day we awoke again to a lovely warm day. We ate breakfast at. 8 and was taken over by a bus and Sambath kl. 9. We started to visit the largest Pagode in Phnom Pehn. This is a mountain in mid-town. It was a nice experience and as we saw monkeys in the city. This day we would also visit the old torture prison during Pol Pot regime. It's actually a former school, yes you can almost imagine a large boarding school from the old days.

From Toul sleng

rooms were quite similar, with clinker and pussede walls. It is historical that many here were tortured to death and there were pictures of victims, etc. Before lunch we visited the Russian market where you can buy everything. It is a huge area of the roof and very warm. We drove to a very nice place where we had lunch. The cautious say a very good place exclusively with buffet. This cost $ 7.5 all thought it was too much food in relation to how hungry we were. Sambath know many places, so we drove to a small cozy place where we could get more Western food. I got curry soup, fresh salad with mango and chicken and a ginger ale sveppers. It was not so little thing. After lunch we visited one of the many executions were under Pol Pot. Here was a large building filled with skulls of those killed. We walked around the area and could sense the sinister involved in the ground. Not all like the experience, but it is an experience one should have to when you are in Cambodia. We were home at the hotel again approx. kl.17 and could rest and take the bad with us removed kl. 19.30. We eat tonight in Sambath mother Sarun while hygger us on the last night in Phnom Pehn. Tomorrow morning it goes on to Siem Reap and Angkor.

Saturday April 4
I have had time in the wireless network at the hotel in Siem Reap as it runs only. On the fourth day we were up early. We were in the bus ride to Siem Reap, according to Henning for a walk around. 3 hours. Sambath was and greet and we started at. 7 in the morning. Hennings memory is not what it was. We drove and we drove and we drove. We came to the hotel mid-afternoon. This was not without further experience. Bus drivers did not know the way to the hotel so Henning designated in the usual style sure which way he should go. We actually ended up almost at the other end of town. Then there was advice expensive. Henning got a Tucker Tucker a moped with a trailer and he led us to the hotel. It did hurt a little at Henning because it cost $ 3. When we got to Mandalay Inn, our hotel was all and went against us, and after a quick accommodation we drove on with a minibus out to Angkor because we would see the sun go down. There were clouds in the sky so it was not the experience we had hoped, but we hyggede us and tried the many stairs up to the building. When we got back to town we ate at a nice restaurant and got a nice noon as all praised.
Henning and I had a beer on the terrace and had a little meeting with Cheiv, our guide to the next day. The other went to bed early because we were up early and run at. 5 to experience the sunrise.

The days go quickly. Five days were we up early and run with 5 Tucker Tucker to Angkor to experience the sunrise. We were a little disappointed because it was too cloudy to see the sunrise true, but since we were coming up early and had a good experience to drive in Tucker Tucker in the dark. We ate breakfast in the Angkor area. It was perfectly just was not good to drink. Then we visited one monastery after another. Cheiv showed us and told us a lot about Cambodia's history. We also ate lunch in the area we should see many palaces and castles datidens if you like. We ended with Angkor Wat as the largest palace in the area is approx. 34 km on each part. Angkor Wat is about. 1.2 km on each step .. Tonight we eat at Mandalay Inn and receive a visit from our friends here in Siem Reap. Cheiv come with his wife and two children. Sophal and perhaps her family also. We all look forward to a pleasant evening.

We were flying at. 17.30 According to the ticket, but at the airport stood 17.50. When we came by the last occupants were at 17.20 and then we flew at. 17.30. We landed as planned after a pleasant walk in Saigon or HCM as it is. Thuys sister Haang came Henning in stormy meeting. She had arranged for a minibus to us. it was an odd experience because Haang is not so good at English and the driver could not be English. We were accommodated at the hotel the Orient and it was an experience where several cried and it was just derudad, fun. We were invited to eat in Haang and Hops home.
Haang, Hop and Trang

We agreed the time to 20.30. We failed to take a taxi home since it was just behind the hotel. Hop was not home but was otherwise the whole family there, kids and Thang Trang Hops younger brother and younger sister. Henning was handed some clothes to the family and they had fun with it. The family had made a really tasty noon to us, we had many dishes and it was the beer we could drink.
After a pleasant evening, we went around the corner and home in bed. We were the early days eight Wednesday morning.
