were fully track of things and there was a bus to the baggage and one for us. Underway from Da Nang to HoiAn we visited the marble mountain. It was an exciting ride but also a demanding trip. John has tension in the legs several days after the trip. There were very steep stairs.

We slipped out of the queue of sellers and came back to the bus - very sweaty but a good experience richer. When we got to the hotel we were welcomed with great joy to return Henning we got our rooms so we could get a shower before going out to eat. Henning had, as usual, found a good restaurant where we had a nice menu and a huge Tiger beer. We were on the bike so we had to be able to drive straight home and so did we. To sleep well, some of us a little refreshment at the pool.

The bus was at. 08.30, and by then we should have eaten breakfast, incidentally, the best breakfast we have experienced so far. We got to plan for Village of Hope, we saw the whole school, talked with children and teachers. Later we ate lunch with the children. I think all had an unforgettable experience. There is much to tell the particular that there was a school in Saigon to visit the children had common school day with sports, etc.

The day started with some went to the beach at. 6. There was little more than the other days. Hans and Grethe was new and Kaj ran to the beach approx. 3 km. After breakfast came Ahn and Jim kl. 9. We cycled down to the harbor, where we loaded bikes aboard a boat and we went on board another. We sailed out to an island where we would see a træskæreri. It was a fantastic experience and there was bought a lot. John made the largest purchases. What he bought was only machined finish and would later be sent to the United States. We cycled around the island we visited, including a brickyard. The trip took all morning. Ingelise sat back of the moped and Khao Ahns with wife and daughter on a moped was to gather up and hold together the group. It was not easy with the speed Henning had. The trip was a fantastic experience and John could have used all day to share pencils out to the many children. The one time he had almost run. We loaded bikes on board a fishing boats and ourselves behind and sailed back to HoiAn. We ate late lunch at the same restaurant we ate in the evening two days ago. All had the afternoon free so that silk could visit the shop or there could be other purchases. Kl. 20 we would all meet with our Vietnamese friends, we should have party as Hay Yen Hotel. It was a wonderful evening of music and song and one beer and we went to calm some. kl. 24.

Day twelve. The day was a pure hyggedag. We started the day with some slept long and some went swimming. The trip started at. 8:30 and went to Cham Iceland a nice little Robinson Crusoe island. We went by bus to the port and then with a fast boat.

Some were a little worried because the boat is sometimes put into the engine. Khao, Man, daughter, Ahn, Thien, Chau and Huy were also on the trip, so we had to drive in two cars to the port.

That was an excellent boat trip, all were given life jackets. We had only just begun before officer f the boat had to alter å our location in the boat because it stuck too deep rear. There sat Kaj indebted and so he had to move the space to the front. Svend may also move up front and then sailed the boat more stable. Anne Grethe told me that she is not crazy about boats but the outward journey was fine. First stop was a small urban community where we got some history on the island where we saw and went to another small paddy fields, so how was the rice threshing. Later we sailed into a quiet place on the island where there were hammocks, a restaurant and toilets. Most were bathed while others enjoyed hammock. We should have lunch at the restaurant which was included in the price of the trip cost $ 20. Lunch, including shrimp and fish was one of the best we have experienced. After lunch, most are approx. an hour in the eye in the hammock before it went back to HoiAn. The sail back was excellent, we got a little bit of waves on the road, some got a little water but not in a bad grade. All had then little freedom, for example. procurement. Henning and Jens E. went to a massage $ 10 an hour. Kl. 19.30 we started a reasonably long walk out to luu's house. Henning had purchased flowers as he strut through town with a large bouquet. It was much comment. We had a lovely evening where luu had made food for us and Hong had made a drink of lemon and rum, otherwise, there were drinks on the table. The food was lovely, with several dishes and fruit for dessert. We have a nice evening in which I include saw their new house and that children and Chau Huy has become young people. After a pleasant evening with singing and food and we went for a walk in town and had a beer at the harbor before we went to bed around. kl. 24.

Day thirteen. The day began as usual with a nice trip to the beach and Kaj got themselves a nice run. Svend train with but John chose to sleep in because there was no student girls today. After breakfast the day program was a bike ride to the countryside. The trip started at. 9 and it went fine until we came to a place where Khao with wife and child were not allowed to ride on his moped. Henning and I drove around a bit but found them not. Our bike man carrying Ingelise phoned the hotel to tell where we were. Just in the country could give away John's pencils and they did great joy among the children and he got a lot of pictures. After a good trip and a little soreness in the old, we had contact with Khao again. He had been a wife and child back to the hotel. We found the restaurant that Thao had ordered food in and she got on his moped. It was again an exciting menu and turn everything in a different way. We got back a lot to eat something very tasty food. It will be hard to live up to forward. After lunch, all re-think of the clothes and jewelry. Henning and I cycled a shopping, as so often before. Got a beer on the river where we found some children. Henning gave a child a shirt and want to visit the many children in the morning to give them some of the jerseys we are from Denmark. Henning had to buy more so we went on the market. Henning bought some sweaters and I bought some balm for mosquito bites. Important is to haggle and it went very well. Henning and I had to pick up some shirts and trousers with Maos Bich daughter who has been a shop with clothes. Things were perfect as they came home in the trunk. We got loaded laundry and got on the computer. We got us a bath before we had to eat with Sy, Ahns parents.

We met at 20, had a wonderful wonderful evening with Vietnamese and Danish songs. His sons are all good singers. Sy singing solo and Khao participated eagerly in the Vietnamese songs. We made a huge effort with some Danish songs where Kaj clearly acted as lead singer. A really lovely evening ending with taking pictures for the website. When we got home was a team of young people from Norway to end a celebration as the hotel had provided. Henning and I had a good night of beer and went to bed at. 24.

Tuesday April 14

Day fourteen. It was again a beautiful weather, and after breakfast we cycled to the Victoria Hotel, as I understand it the second largest hotel in HoiAn. Thrang who is married to Moi is director of this very large hotel situated near the beach. It is a true luxury hotel with swimming pool and with all that is involved in a wonderful environment. Thrang welcomed us and made sure that some did anything practical about beach wagons on the beach and loungers by the pool. We were there all morning and greeted nicely by Thrang around kl. 12. We had lunch with the lady who in 2001 had a small restaurant on the beach. Now she has a restaurant on the way to the beach. We had a lovely catfisk and a beer. Prices have still got a jump upwards since 2001. Above, there was a clothes shop and Henning and I was going to buy some shirts but they could not get to be sewn so we left off. Nor is there any more room in the trunk. When we got back from the beach, we were around and visit some we know in town. All was shopping and I do not know how our suitcases weighing pass at the airport when we return.

Day 14 ended with a wonderful feast. Phuc celebrated his birthday with friends, staff from the hotel and us. We festede and song Phuc welcomed in English. Her French friend Pierre was also with. We went to bed around midnight.
