We had a pleasant journey. A train crashing, shaking, especially the Vietnamese, the rails are narrower than in other countries, much more tremors, but it will cost too much to make the rails on and make 2 tracks. When the trains to pass each other it happens at railway stations. It can provide some waiting. The train, we drove from Saigon to Da Nang, was 12 wagons, we were in the car 10.Vi was precisely the promotion pm. 14. This time the hotel had sent three girls with blooms, very festive. Thao "traveling" was at the hotel to greet us. She drove me around so that I could make deals. We are here for many days, but there is also much we need to achieve. Now all agreements in place. The group relaxed and got the bikes, while I made arrangements. I had booked a table at the harbor. Cycled a small detour to avoid traffic. Unfortunately, we ran into a lot of traffic at the port, especially of pedestrians. We have to change it the next few days. Again quite a day.

Friday, September 9

Walk on the beach. After breakfast we all went to An Bay beach pm. 0900. Robert, Diem's ??husband took. Glorious sunshine, 35 degrees, yes it is a little hot. There are many restaurants, but we have one, we always visit and when we were out early we got the best room: A large sitting next to the sea. When Robert was with, the group has 6 people. "Traveling" Thao would come later, ca. 1215th All were in the water several times. It was great, more than 25 degrees, I think 28 degrees. It was great to relax by the water. When Thao arrived we ordered table. We got different lovely food. Back to Hai Yen k. 1315. After quick change we visited Mao and his factory with special rice cakes, very tasty, we saw production guided by Mao's daughter. Peter and I bought a pack of rice cakes each. We then drove to Le Lai 41, where they produce beautiful pictures made of silk and fine silk. I bought a shirt and Lis bought a beautiful purple scarf. Le Lai 41 is an exciting place to visit. Then to Lac Viet where Thao has sølvbutik.Jeg purchased ordering goods, Lis and John bought some and Peter also bought something. In agreement I called "Traveling" Thao, who came from his office and would show us an exciting coffee restaurant served by deaf. Lan from the clothing store came too. She will move to Erfurt, Germany, where she is to marry his German girlfriend. They are getting married in Denmark, but she does not know where. Tomorrow she will make a small demonstration of its goods at our hotel, Hai Yen. Then it was time to return to the hotel, where there was only 45 minutes. to shower and change. We ate at a fine restaurant by the river, where in spite of really good food were not so many guests. We were 7 to the eating: Lis, John, Amy Peter Henning, "Traveling" Thao and Robert.

We have ordered "Cooking Class". We should arrive at Cooking Class Office before noon. 8.00. We biked all without problems. Our guide took us on a boat trip to the market. Here she underwent many vegetables, spices and very involved in cooking to do. We walked around the market for more than an hour. She was a skilled guide. After this thorough review, we had a beautiful boat trip to an island in the delta. Here they had arranged teaching, a long and thorough training where each conjured delicious, Vietnamese dishes. When we were finished at. 15:00, we were well fed and well fed. We cycled to our hotel, where Lan waited. She previously had a clothes shop in Hoi An. There was purchased part. Kl. 18:00 came Thaos brother to pick us up. Dorte got a lift back of his motorcycle when she is afraid to ride in the heavy traffic in the dark. The rest rode the 8-10 km Thaos home. Along the way, the motorcycle conversed he Dorte, all the while he gestured with one arm, occasionally checked his cell phone and entertained Dorte with how dangerous traffic in Vietnam. Not exactly a soothing motorcycle tour of a scared and cautious Dorte. One family had a birthday and had invited several of the family. Everyone sat on the floor and ate. It was only Dorte and me sitting at a table. It is one of the few advantages they have arthritis in the joints :) After 1 1/2 hours had to Lis and John give up, so they came up to our table to sit. It is not easy to eat on the floor. But how do they do it in Vietnam. An exciting day was running out, and we were very tired of the many impressions.

Sunday, September 11

Today we head to Camp Island, an island about 15 km from Hoi An. We were picked up in minibus and driven to our speedboat, which is for 15 people. Some are speed boats are a little bigger. We sailed quickly to Camp Island. John, Lisa and Peter would like to snorkel, so Dorte and I was put on the beach. We had plenty of time to bathe. Snorkel team was first back at lunchtime, but they had also the bath while string blade. The lunch was not great, but tasty. After lunch there was 40 minutes to bathe in. Our guide wanted us quickly back to the mainland, as the weather pulled up. He would be sure to get everyone back; sailing not if it blows too much. The trip back was a little wild. It had blown up a bit, so there was a bit waves as speed boat milled over at great speed. It gave some spray and rinse seawater cross us. Dorte and quite a few others thought it was funny, because the water was not cold. "Travelling" Thao called and wanted us at the coffee shop. Thao, Kenneth and Jesper, who live here in Vietnam, arrived at the hotel. They drove the taxi, we cycled to a bicycle parking and we went all 8 of the coffee shop. We should then have seen how Thao lived, but the clock neared 18, and then it becomes dark. Dorte would not run in the dark, so it went back to the hotel to be washed. We have a party tonight. Here are 28 that are set on partying. Mao, as we visit tomorrow, could really boost it with beautiful and captivating song. Peter stood before the Danish entertainment; we sang some songs with a simple chorus which at least Thao could sing along to. A long day of exciting experiences was over.

A forthcoming wedding was about to get taken wedding photos to their bryllupsbog on the roof terrace where we drank coffee.

We visit the school for deaf children and children at risk. The deaf children be taught in school while the other children are taught in schools in Da Nang. The school has existed since 1993. The name of the school is the Village of Hope. There are 116 students, of which 23 are deaf. It has been a terrible rain today, all day. We usually go around the school, see the computer lab, library, sewing room and other recreation. But the weather did not allow that we could see these things. We visited the dormitories and teaching area. Kl. 11 ate a light meal with kids. Afterwards we joked around with the kids. They showed their ray teeth, and Dorte wanted to show them that her teeth could not budge. Then they saw her gold teeth pg wanted that she rocked one of them loose and gave them. Kenneth and Thao was in Da Nang. They had to collect their things sent from Hanoi, including a motorcycle as they would run back to Hoi An on. It had to abandon due. Storm and instead take a taxi back. We got our taxi to drive to Mao's home (riskagemanden). We had lunch with him. We went back to the hotel with difficulty as there were floods everywhere. The dinner was at Sys family. He has a beautiful home. The plan was that we would go there, but it was taxi due. Weather, both there and back. Again a day with many experiences.

Tuesday, September 13

After the torrential downpours and storm yesterday we were a little nervous about our bike ride today. We were pleasantly surprised, some wind but no rain. Sys son Anh was our guide. We cycled in many small islands, which today are connected by bridges and dams. Traveling Thao was with us, so we were 7. It was glorious weather, so everything was organized for a good and very beautiful trip. On such a trip we encounter almost no tourists. We had a comfortable pace where everyone could follow. The company made small stops along the way. Time was carefully tailored so that we could be on our lunch restaurant, "Bull Vell" at. 1230th Here would "Silver Thao" meet us, it was she who gave the luncheon. Again, good and tasty food. Everyone would like to see Traveling Thaos house, which is very nice and well decorated. It is intended that Kenneth also be staying there, there is plenty of room for 2 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, sitting area and dining room. Kenneth thinks he can control the company here from Hoi An, he has also good means of "Traveling Thao". Jesper must then control the Hanoi office. When we got back to the hotel we had cycled about 27 kilometers. We ate dinner at Luu, "Traveling Thao" helped her dinner. It was a fine dinner. Luu has injured her left arm, and she goes to the hospital for care. Chau and her husband also came and Phuc. Because of the bad weather could Phuc not come to the "Village of Hope" yesterday, so I dropped the letter + T-shirt for him and took pictures. He was taken to dinner on his motorcycle all the way from Da Nang, where he reads. While we ate crashed it down, but the rain had stopped when we left the house at some nine o'clock. I was so battered and bruised after the bike ride, I chose to take a taxi for $ 1U. The others went home. Tomorrow applies the Hue.
