We were up early. There is much to Sa Pa. We had to run at. 5:00 am to Sa Pa, which lies at the Chinese border. When we reached was at 16.30. It was a little tough trip, but also exciting. We saw much of the Vietnamese countryside with many small villages. All visitors must to Sa Pa or Bac Ha. We have decided to take night train back to Hanoi. We had bought yuogurt for the trip in Hanoi. On the outskirts of Hanoi we bought bread. All were liptonte which Khoa bought by a business underway. There we ate had the only green tea. Sy, My Diem and ate Pho. Diem was bad on the trip. We hope that she is fresh in the morning. the last 10 km we drove along the Chinese border. Border Station is Lao Cai, and here there are only 100 meters to China, which lies on the other side of river. We took some pictures at the border station. Now it is 38 km upwards until we reach Sa Pa. Accommodation at hotel Lotus. Here we lived for many years. We were so early promotion there was time for a little tour of the city. We can probably feel temperatures are different here. It is perhaps a little colder than I had expected the odd evening. By day marks not the lower temperature. Only as a convenience. There are built and changed a lot in the city. There are now so many foot massage places. On a short ride through the city I counted 10 new places in foot massage. We ate as usual at restarant mimosa. I had probably ordered too much food. We had 9 + small Chau, who ate dinner. Benno, Gerda, Stone, Jette, Khoa, Man, Sewing, My participation but Unfortunately, Diem was not fresh. We ended with whiskey on the terrace.

We have sent for our local guide Jame. She got a little daughter in July 2008. Now awaited us a very interesting experience. A little hard trek. It was not James, as she was admitted to the second page, but a nice sweet guide Quien in 24 years. We started at. 9.00 and the weather was fine. We were nine on the trip: Stone, Jette, Benno, Gerda, Khoa, Diem, Sew, My and me. The weather was good, so it was a nice trip with the opportunity to take many pictures. For me I had to spend all my bones reserves to compensate for the bad knee. I also believe that Benno and Gerda used excessive force. While Jette and Stone had easier about it. It is a special trip in an incredibly beautiful landscape. One must put up with that many would like to sell to us. Their income is not great. Should you have given a little too much for clothes, then they course, been helpful for many hours. The Mong who helped me was for my help in 3 hours. I bought stuff from her for 210,000 VD. It is about 7o kr She was happy and I was pleased. There are many aggressive sellers. It can probably be no different. We had a bottle of water and lunch with the hotel. We ate and drank by 12 times. Vors driver picked us up at the bottom of the valley. All were little mast. Now we sit on the patio and drink coffee. It was foggy. We had fine weather throughout the trek. By evening we reached also getting rain. Today we had all kinds of weather. The day started with high sunshine with light winds and later very foggy and cold, then rain and slightly cooler. We ate nearby.

There are approx. 10 km to the village Darvin Village. I have visited it many times. We drive our car to the village. They're Red Dzau, who live here. When we arrived we were greeted by an incredible number of Red Dzau. They followed us all the way through the village. We visited a few homes. Many knew me from previous visits. I thought that was interesting scars get there. In particular, there are 2 Red Dzauer that I have helped with many things. I had two packets of clothes. When I see a young girl with a child is the one package. I had two packages. Could have used many more. Lunch would we have had in the market but we ate at a restaurant in town. Unfortunately, it is nicer to eat in the market. We met our daughter and Luyen Phung Dung. In the afternoon we walked through the market and then came way down the hill to black Mong villages. We walked around. 3 km on the road before we turned left and there are many stairs. At the bottom a large waterfall. On the way back we reach a suspension bridge, where there are waiting motorcycle on us. It drove us the church where we have set Benno and Gerda rally. They were not with the staircase turn into the village CatCat. We got a beer from Luyen and daughter Phung Dung. Now relax there on the terrace. Dinner we get at a restaurant adjacent to hotel Lotus.

Baggage we brought into this space. We walked quickly to the market. It is North Vietnam's largest market for ethnic groups. Most are Flav Mong, but there are also some Thai and Bac Ha Dzau. There will be people from the village which lies more than 50 km from Bac Ha. There was much to see but also very crowded. We ate lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we made a trip to the opposite side along the valley and walked to a musician Mr. Ho. He played for us and we tasted his grain whiskey, which was very strong. stone Jette, Khoa, Sew, My and I was on this trip. It is a little mixed but pleasant way to walk on. In Bac Ha is incredible plum trees. For travel from mr. Ho, we went through many plum orchards. The driver determines when we should leave Bac Ha. We ate dinner in Lao Cai. We must reach the train is running at. 19.30 .. There were many who were involved in Hanoi. Vier Name They have had three days off: freedom day 30 / 4, Saturday 1 / 5 and Sunday 2 / 5. The restaurant we usually eat at was overbooked. There was a nice restaurant on the opposite side of the railway station where there was available. A fine restaurant, but with bad food. The train we rode with to Hanoi, was a better train than we had previously been running with. We got coffee and whiskey on the train before we went to bed.
