We have rooms with a great view. Now we are waiting for breakfast. We start out our first trek at 9.00. That's the big trip to Lao Chai and Ta Van. Here live the Black Mong which is best, but there are also Red Dzauer. The weather was with us with high blue sky. It was was a bit cold when we arrived, but heat came quickly, so when we started the temperature was about 24 degrees. It was one of the clearest trips I've had. All took many pictures and could have taken many more. There was always great parties of both nature and people. There were many Black Mong, that followed us, so we had all the time a hand that could help us with difficult passages. I had great help from it. We ate lunch at 11.30 am totally behind schedule. We visited a home that I have come in many times. At his wife in the house I bought some at. We finished the trip with a beer in the bottom of the valley. We had booked a car for the return trip. We were at our hotel at 14.30. Khoa and I went out to make a reservation for tonight and lunch tomorrow. It will be: black chicken barbecue with rice. It is is the place I have eaten lunch many years. The name of the owner is Luyen. She has a daughter who is studying in Hanoi, Phung Dum. She comes to our celebration on September 23 along with his friend. We eat dinner at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. We were 7 for dinner: Khoa, Tommy, Ruth, Knud Erik, Diem, Robert and Henning.

Time is 6.00 this morning. It is almost the same weather as yesterday, when the sun first obtain after 8.00 am. Here in the mountains the weather can change quickly. We start at 9.00. We have a car that drives us to Ta Phin. It's a Red Dzau village. Red Dzauerne emigrated from China for more than 300 years ago. it has previously been a nomadic people. The Vietnamese authorities have previously had problems. There were many places that were built schools and hospitals, so the authorities could see that after a few years, the Red Dzau people moved to another location. Red Dzau have their own language. It has Black Mong too. It was their village we visited. Black Mongerne from Mongolia. I'm a familiar face in Ta Phin village and know many in the village especially Pham Mai and Le Mai. There was a festive reunion. There was greeted 30 Red Dza up when we came by car. It was the same process as before. All followed us through the city. All or almost all knew me. We visited 2 cabins. The first was a very large hut, which had had 2 rooms, so you can stay there. We had tea and rice schnapps, which was fine. We also visited the neighboring hut. Now we were ready for the thrill ride of the rice fields. I had someone to help me. We went through 3 rivers. All were prepared with shoes that could withstand water. I bought some from Le Mai, who had helped me. There were handed 10 bags of children clothes. Now we have only 4 bags back. Those we share out tomorrow. Now it was time to go back. We ate lunch at the market in Luyen. I had ordered black chicken with rice. The chicken was grilled. We went through trade stalls home. Again were purchased. Now we can relax on the terrace. At 20.00 we go out to eat. Robert and Diem have found a good place. In Sa Pa can really feel the 4 seasons on the same day. At night / winter morning / morning spring dinner / summer and afternoon /autumn. It turned out that it was Roberts birthday. There was again sung much. We ended again of our common terrace with coffee, rum and cola.
