Again the chef had outdone themselves and had made very beautiful decorations of various vegetables. Tomorrow we get a demonstration of how he makes the fishing net of a carrot. Sunday, May 10
We saw a beautiful sunset yesterday. Elisabeth and I had hoped to also get a nice sunrise. We got up at 5 - time. There were many clouds, so first at 7 o'clock the sun broke through in earnest - now without a red sky. Breakfast at. 7.30. Then we sailed on Cat Ba. During demonstrated cook his abilities to make fishing nets and flowers of carrots. Very impressive. We settled for drinks mm. After docking at Cat Ba we were dear to the hotel by bus. Along the way we passed the entrance to the national park. Here you can make exciting hiking. Later we passed a camouflaged, former military hospital built into the rock. It is now empty. When we got to the hotel, the rooms were not quite ready yet, so we went for a walk into town along the seafront. We also see the market and pearl stalls. We looked at the beads and agreed with damnen that we would come back at night and get a really good price. We had a farewell dinner at the "Green Mango". There's 4 from the group takes home Monday. The afternoon we spent at the beach at the "Sunset Resort". Back to the hotel - relaxation. Dinner at. 20, but before that we bought pearls. There were haggled about the price! After a good dinner it was bedtime. The heat and the many experiences tires.

Monday, May 11
Journey home of Doris, Knud, Lissi and Henning. Nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace at Hotel Prince on Cat Ba. A great view, great buffet, many possibilities. Departure at. 8 to our boat that would take us to Ha Long Bay. Ding quickly found his car, and so we went toward Hanoi. A small stop at the ceramics factory plus a stop for lunch. Then again on to Hanoi. The four who were going to Denmark, took a bath in our rooms and packed on. Knud Henning and I took one last trip to the Backpakers Corner, where we had a beer. Farewell pm. 17th Elisabeth, Mi and I go along with Oanh Le out to eat tonight. It will be nice to see Oanh Le again.
