Monday, May 2
The train reached Hanoi at. 5.15 and we drove the taxi to Camellia 4th Then we walked around the Hoa Kiem Lake and watched the Vietnamese, who cultivated all sorts of morning exercise. Some races. Others gathered in groups with one-stop music as they did for gymnastics. Then breakfast. We hired some good bikes and cycled around the West Lake in good weather. When we were almost around Thuy phoned and invited on a road trip with family and a pagoda. First we had to ride on motorbikes to a collection site. Here awaited Thu with her brother Nam in Thus car which is a very nice Toyota in a model we form solitary not have in Denmark. Sun has no license so her brother Nam should run. Besides the 2 was Thuy Linh and her daughter and later Nam wife, so we just sat wedged in the backseat. we drove around. 70 km to an aunt and uncle northwest. They waited with a large lunch, which tasted good. Later we visited no other family in the same city. Then we drove to a beautiful pagoda which was not so far from Giorg temple which we visited a few days ago. This pagoda is called Thank Cuoung Viet Palace. There were also old houses from the old days. We can compare with the Old Town in Aarhus and Funen village. We drove back to Hanoi for Thus office. We saw Thus workplace. Her title is: "Climate Change Speialist". Later we drove a taxi to our hotel.

Tuesday, May 3
We biked in drizzle to Thai airlines to confirm flight tickets. As they allowed themselves to keep closed even Tuesday because of the holiday. Now we cycled to the ethnic museum fot that Henning could be completely safe on the road next time in September. There was now time to see the Revolution Museum, located just across Historical Museum. Cl. 12.00 we were picked up by Thuy, as we are invited to visit her parents. First we drove to a restaurant on the motorcycle. Here we met Thuys man Hihn and their dattar Linh. Hihn are employed in the military. We got a great lunch and then we went to Thuys parents' home. They live very well. Thuys mom had a meeting outside. In the evening ate Henning and Erik at Little Hanoi.
