Henning took a motorcycle tour to Danang to meet a friend there and while Erik was out and seeing the sights. Erik had bought tickets for 5 attractions, of which 4 were used. For example the old merchant's house at the Japanese bridge houses, museums and a Chinese pagoda. There has been a flood here many times and you could see several places where water had stood the different years. Mao's house was also under water. Cl. 12.00 Henning was back and we rode into town. We passed a place where there are many people and loud music. It turned out to be a wedding with approx. 300 guests. We walked cautiously, but it soon became apparent that we were very welcome. We were treated to a lot of food and there was poured beer up again and again. They asked us to: toks kvaere (phonetics). It is impressive so hospitable they are. We also had toast with the bridal couple. When we went we won some money in an envelope like the rest of the bridal couple. In the evening we ate at Sew, which saw Sy, Dien, Anh and his girlfriend Thuy, Phuc and a second son and 2 people from the travel agent who housed in the same building as the Sys home.
