It was a wonderful meal we got yesterday at Green Tangerine. We finished the "Backpacker Corner". Today departure day for the group. Everyone was out and do some last minute shopping. I rented the bike somewhere new. It was a good bike. Now I hope that the bike rental has several of the same quality next time. 17.00 came Khoa and Ding to drive us to the airport. Thuy and her daughter and husband were there to say goodbye. I ate dinner with Oanh Le.

So I am alone, yes it is I almost never, as there is always Vietnamese, who will help me. Today I hold lectures at a university in Hanoi. It will be interesting. I will be picked up at 8:00. I was received with flowers University Director delivered a long speech to me. The university I visited is called "University of Labour and Social Affairs". I talked a little more than 1 hour. I had lunch with a new lady: Nguyen Lan Huong, who was coordinating officer. We ate outside the university area. I saw how they lived. The place I visited, there were 20 girls under very simple conditions in a dormitory. I took as many pictures as I could. I was then driven back to my hotel. I ate at a small humble place.

Thursday, May 16
I took a taxi to Khoas home. We went to a center where Sun works. The whole family helped. Thu had exciting images as I had ordered. We met Ding in the center. We ate lunch at his home. Ding has a house next to his father. Here he lives with his wife and young son at 5 years. It was a pleasant visit. It has now become very hot in Hanoi 39 degrees, so we need to think about what we're doing. I ate dinner with Khoas families near his home. We got barbecue bird about the size of grpspurve. It is a delicacy in Vietnam.

Friday, May 17
I was visited by Houng today. Houng is Hangs sister. It was Houng who was in Mai Chau. We got a pizza, which unfortunately was not good. It has plagued me all day. Khoa, Man, Minh Chau and Bich was one of Khoas good friends out to eat Hot Pot. It was in a whole new way. It was "Buffe Hot Pot". The kettle is great on the table. All meat, fish, shrimp running around the restaurant, a plate plastiv bowls. When the bowls have been around they end up in the kitchen. Then there will be new dishes on the table. It must be experienced. This is the first time I see it. After eating we went to a place with live music. Here we should have shoes. It was also something new at a restaurant. We ended with a midnight snack at PHO restaurant.

I ate breakfast with the family Khoa. I took a taxi back to Camelia 4 In agreement came Thuy on a motorcycle. She left it for later repatriation. We had lunch at Thuys brother Nam. Only a small taxi ride tuk bus station and then a long bus ride and again a small taxi ride. It is important to swerve, so transportation is not too expensive. It is not quite expensive to go by bus. Nam Son "Haen" of 12 years was about teaching English. I went with. There were about 15 young people aged 12 years who received extra training. I was able to hold them in the time of 1 hour. Sunday I started packing. I went for a walk to "Backpackers corner" and got into conversation with 7 students. It was very cozy. It must be said that the pace has fallen. It is probably because I'm not quite at the top. Thuy has been here with mango fruit. Especially mango I enjoyed thoroughly. The heat is still a problem. At midday, the temperature over 40 Gradert. What to do without aircon. I ate lunch alone. Thuy came to visit with his nephew his brother's son Haen. Thuy was about teaching English. I ate dinner with them. The whole town is on the other end for several reasons. It's Sunday, the Hang Behind the rafter due to the night market, so it is Ho Chi Minh's birthday. My good friend from last year Quy I met at Hoa Kiem Lake. He did not have much time when he read for the exam. I have gone into hibernation in my little cave. When the temperature is over 40 degrees must either commute or stay within doors. In the evening I eat at "Little Hanoi" with Minh (Hangs friend), Houng (Hangs sister) and Oanh. Yes Thuy also appear. We had a nice termination dinner.

Depature. To be packed finished. It was a bit of a task. Tam from Denmark had given me. I had to leave more clothing for Thuy than usual.
