Monday, May 4
Well we came to Lao Cai and were picked up by taxi. After breakfast we started the hike down through the rice fields. We were lucky with the weather. There was only a little haze and not the usual spray. In the beginning there were many mongkvinder that came with us, but when they discovered that there would not be much commerce, it was only two, that came on the whole trip. Lissi and I had good use of them in the more rugged part of the trip. At the bottom of the valley we ate lunch and "Settled" with our mates by buying their products. There were taken many pictures of the beautiful landscape. We also had clear views of Vietnam's highest mountain (3140 m). It is building a cable car up there, which is scheduled for completion next year. We met a girl Lan, which I have supported since 2001 so she could stay in school any longer. She is from "seid" remind century. She is now married to a carpenter and has two children + plus a nice store. After hiking we came home tired at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Khoa and I had ordered the evening's dinner and had visited the market, where we were greeted Luyen and her daughter Phung Dum. We're having lunch with her tomorrow. Eften a nice dinner it was cozy with coffee plus rum and coke on the terrace outside our rooms.

Hike in Sapa

Tuesday, May 5
Everyone went to bed early yesterday due. Fatigue after the long hike + the sparse night's sleep on the train the night before. I rented car we drove out to Red Dzau village "Ta Phin." As soon as we got out of the car, we were surrounded by Dzauer would act. My Dzau help was a little delayed, but when she arrived, she got the others to go. I have known "Only Mai" in 10 years. She followed us through the village and eventually we ended up at her house. She served tea and rice wine. Elisabeth bought a nice hand-embroidered wall thick. I bought too much. We went back to the car over the rice fields. This is the time of year when they prepare risplantningen so we seedbeds, and a man plowing. I had only Mai to help me over the difficult places. After this delightful visit, we drove to the market, where we ate at Luyen and daughter Phnum Dum. We got different grilled on skewers. One could choose. Everyone was very happy with the food. While the others rested went Khoa and I down and ordered a table for dinner. We found a new place. Then I got foot massages and also nails on the feet. We ate a delicious dinner at. 20 and Then there was rum and coke on the terrace.

There toasting the rice wine in only Mais house

Wednesday, May 6
Today we went to Cat Cat. Here are many Black Hmong houses. The weather is still nice, clear blue sky. It is a hike with many stairs. This beautiful route is just like everywhere else, more and more stalls. It goes down until we get to a waterfall and a suspension bridge. At the site of the waterfall has come tiles and a lot of flowers. There is dance performance 5 times a day. We saw one of the performances. The dancers in the Hmong costumes who danced for us. The rented car picked us up and brought us to the market where we repeated yesterday's success with lunch. We now have a room available at the hotel, where we rest us and bathe in turn. Pm. 17, we taxi to Lao Cai to take the night train to Hanoi. Dinner we get in Lao Cai. Here at the end, I note that this stay in Sa Pa has been one of the best ever with hensuyn to the weather. Mountain peaks have been obvious all 3 days.
