Departure at. 7. Ding our driver plus his family to help Ha Long Bay. There are 166 km run. First stop was a handicap center, where they sew very fine silk embroidered pictures. I have come here for 15 years. Skip to Ha Long Bay. We had arrived at the harbor at. 11. In the beginning it was quite hazy, but gradually cleared up. There are many caves in Ha Long Bay. We visited the largest and most impressive. You have to go careful sometimes paths and steps very slippery. We bathed by a small beach near the place of accommodation. Dinner at. 19:30. Again the chef had outdone themselves and had made very beautiful decorations of various vegetables. Tomorrow we get a demonstration of how he makes the fishing net of a carrot. In Ha Long Bay is about 2000 islands. The number varies slightly depending on whether it is high or low tide. Tomorrow we stay on the main island of Cat Ba.

We saw a beautiful sunset yesterday. Elisabeth and I had hoped to also get a nice sunrise. We got up at 5 - time. There were many clouds, so first at 7 o'clock the sun broke through in earnest - now without a red sky. Breakfast at. 7.30. Then we sailed on Cat Ba. During demonstrated cook his abilities to make fishing nets and flowers of carrots. Very impressive. We settled for drinks mm. After docking at Cat Ba we were dear to the hotel by bus. Along the way we passed the entrance to the national park. Here you can make exciting hiking. Later we passed a camouflaged, former military hospital built into the rock. It is now empty. When we got to the hotel, the rooms were not quite ready yet, so we went for a walk into town along the seafront. We also see the market and pearl stalls. We looked at the beads and agreed with damnen that we would come back at night and get a really good price. We had a farewell dinner at the "Green Mango". There's 4 from the group takes home Monday. The afternoon we spent at the beach at the "Sunset Resort". Back to the hotel - relaxation. Dinner at. 20, but before that we bought pearls. There were haggled about the price! After a good dinner it was bedtime. The heat and the many experiences tires.

Whole team on the way to the beach. Henning Hjorth, the driver's wife and son, Henning Moller, Lissi, Mi, Knud, Elisabeth and Doris
